How the module works
This module is in development and available for demos only. The following describes the development scope, not a commercial implementation commitment.
Domain inventory and expiration
Domains brings Gname/Namecheap inventory and Cloudflare information into an ownership-scoped catalog with private documents and expiration emails. Provider API credentials are encrypted; registrar portal passwords and OTP secrets are not stored.
DNS administration and operation history
The development version manages Cloudflare zones, DNS records, SSL mode and firewall rules through audited background operations. Provider success does not imply DNS propagation. Submitted nameserver metadata and subsequent confirmation are tracked separately.
Implementation requirements
Demos need Starter Kit, permitted provider API accounts, a worker and scheduler. The module does not register, renew or transfer domains or change auto-renew; it only displays synchronized auto-renew metadata.
Frequently asked questions
Can domains be renewed in the module?
Not in the current scope. Renewal and payment remain with the registrar. Domains tracks inventory, expiry and supported Cloudflare operations.
Scope and costs
Existing features are included in the package. Additional development is quoted before work starts.

Entering and editing your data
You can add or edit information using existing fields and functions within the module’s permissions and configuration without a software customization fee. Data entry, cleanup or migration performed by Douwyn is quoted separately.
Separately priced customization
New fields or features, interface changes, business workflows, reports, specialized permissions and external integrations fall outside the standard scope.
Examples requiring a separate quote: Additional registrars or custom DNS synchronization workflows.
Costs not included
Installation and deployment; data entry or migration; a custom website or application; hosting, domains and storage; third-party services and AI API usage. Required modules and integration packages are priced separately unless included in the quotation.
Agreement before additional work
Douwyn confirms requirements, scope, cost and timing before starting additional work with the customer’s agreement. Defects that prevent delivered features from meeting the agreed scope are distinguished from new requests and handled under the agreed warranty and support terms. Module pricing does not automatically include lifetime maintenance or upgrades.
Platform and integrations
These modules run on Douwyn Starter Kit with Laravel and Filament; they are not standalone applications. During the demo, Douwyn will check platform compatibility and your integration needs.
