Douwyn Blog

Multilingual publishing

The Blog module for Douwyn Starter Kit manages posts, categories, publishing schedules and SEO for each content language.

Module capabilities

  • Posts, hierarchical categories, revisions and editorial review.
  • Language-specific slugs, redirects, canonical URLs and SEO metadata.
  • Scheduled publishing, content analytics and a website API.

Who is it for?

For business websites and editorial teams that need centralized, multilingual publishing.

How the module works

An editorial workflow from draft to publication

Douwyn Blog manages articles and categories for business websites. Content moves through draft, review, scheduled, published and archived states. Revision history and conflict checks help editors review changes when several people work on the same article. Hierarchical categories organize content into topics that can grow with the website.

Content and SEO for each language

Each language has its own title, excerpt, body, slug and SEO metadata. Blog manages canonical URLs, robots, Open Graph images, Twitter cards and old-slug redirects. The public API returns only effective published translations and does not substitute another language when a translation is missing. This provides the content foundation for localized website pages.

Distribution and engagement reporting

Websites consume articles through the API while editors use the administration interface. Media supports local or S3-compatible storage. The module records deduplicated views, authenticated likes and daily statistics. Dashboards, leading content and reconciliation tools support editorial operations. Website design and custom reporting views need an agreed implementation scope.

Usage workflow

  1. 1.

Create categories, drafts and translations for configured content languages.

  2. 2.

Review content, images and SEO, then submit for approval or schedule publication.

  3. 3.

Connect the website to the API and review engagement and revision history.

Implementation requirements

Blog requires a compatible Douwyn Starter Kit, a worker and scheduler. It provides administration and an API. Website design, existing-content migration and external connections are quoted separately. Blog Library and Blog AI are optional packages.

Frequently asked questions

Can Blog manage multiple content languages?

Yes. Content languages are configured independently from the admin interface language; Vietnamese and English are the documented defaults. Your team supplies translations and an approval workflow for public languages.

Does Blog guarantee high search rankings?

Blog provides SEO fields and publishing controls. Search performance also depends on content, website structure, speed and accessibility. The module does not guarantee rankings.

Do content edits or new fields cost extra?

Editing content through existing functionality is part of using the module. Data entry or editorial work by Douwyn, new fields, custom approval flows and interface development are separately quoted.

Scope and costs

Existing features are included in the package. Additional development is quoted before work starts.

Included in the standard scope

Use of the module in one project with the capabilities listed on this page, subject to the version and scope confirmed in the quotation. The module price is not the cost of building a complete system.

Entering and editing your data

You can add or edit information using existing fields and functions within the module’s permissions and configuration without a software customization fee. Data entry, cleanup or migration performed by Douwyn is quoted separately.

Separately priced customization

New fields or features, interface changes, business workflows, reports, specialized permissions and external integrations fall outside the standard scope.

Examples requiring a separate quote: A public blog website, additional content types or custom editorial approval.

Costs not included

Installation and deployment; data entry or migration; a custom website or application; hosting, domains and storage; third-party services and AI API usage. Required modules and integration packages are priced separately unless included in the quotation.

Agreement before additional work

Douwyn confirms requirements, scope, cost and timing before starting additional work with the customer’s agreement. Defects that prevent delivered features from meeting the agreed scope are distinguished from new requests and handled under the agreed warranty and support terms. Module pricing does not automatically include lifetime maintenance or upgrades.

Platform and integrations

These modules run on Douwyn Starter Kit with Laravel and Filament; they are not standalone applications. During the demo, Douwyn will check platform compatibility and your integration needs.
