How the module works

One place to administer AI tasks

Douwyn AI centralizes provider connections, models, prompt templates and task configurations. Administrators use company credentials for OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini, with instructions and input/output limits. Credentials are encrypted and saved keys cannot be read back through the interface or API. Model selection depends on the configured provider’s capabilities and your requirements.

Background processing and usage control

Requests run asynchronously with durable status and history. Duplicate-request protection, token accounting and daily limits for users and the system support operational control. Administrators review runs and reconcile usage. Optional price estimates support monitoring; actual AI usage is billed separately by the provider.

A system assistant and optional content connections

The system assistant offers named private conversations and read tools supplied by the host. Users can open the associated sources; this assistant does not change business data. Blog AI and Library AI are separate packages that check source permissions, generate suggestions and let users choose what to apply. AI core does not automatically provide every company-specific workflow.

Implementation requirements

AI requires a compatible Douwyn Starter Kit, valid provider credentials and a background worker. Your company selects which data may be sent to a provider. API usage, implementation, custom business assistants and internal-data connections are outside the standard module price.

Frequently asked questions

Are OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini tokens included?

No. The price covers module use in one project. Provider usage is billed to your provider account. Module limits help control usage but do not replace the provider’s billing.

Does AI automatically edit articles and files?

The system assistant is read-only. Article and asset suggestions require Blog AI or Library AI; users review and explicitly apply selected fields within source permissions.

Can it read our own business data?

Custom tools and integrations can be assessed. Data scope, access permissions, processing requirements and cost are agreed before development; they are not automatically included in AI core.

Scope and costs

Existing features are included in the package. Additional development is quoted before work starts.

Included in the standard scope

Use of the module in one project with the capabilities listed on this page, subject to the version and scope confirmed in the quotation. The module price is not the cost of building a complete system.

Entering and editing your data

You can add or edit information using existing fields and functions within the module’s permissions and configuration without a software customization fee. Data entry, cleanup or migration performed by Douwyn is quoted separately.

Separately priced customization

New fields or features, interface changes, business workflows, reports, specialized permissions and external integrations fall outside the standard scope.

Examples requiring a separate quote: A business-specific assistant, internal data integration or new AI tasks.

Costs not included

Installation and deployment; data entry or migration; a custom website or application; hosting, domains and storage; third-party services and AI API usage. Required modules and integration packages are priced separately unless included in the quotation.

Agreement before additional work

Douwyn confirms requirements, scope, cost and timing before starting additional work with the customer’s agreement. Defects that prevent delivered features from meeting the agreed scope are distinguished from new requests and handled under the agreed warranty and support terms. Module pricing does not automatically include lifetime maintenance or upgrades.

Platform and integrations

These modules run on Douwyn Starter Kit with Laravel and Filament; they are not standalone applications. During the demo, Douwyn will check platform compatibility and your integration needs.
