1. Scope and responsible entity
This policy covers douwyn.com and communications initiated through the website. The responsible entity is Douwyn Solution Technology Co., Ltd, reachable at contact@douwyn.com.
Douwyn processes data as described in this policy and as required by applicable law.
2. Data that may be processed
The website does not require an account. Depending on how you use it, Douwyn or its infrastructure providers may process:
- Technical request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested path, browser type, and information needed for security or error diagnosis.
- Language and theme preferences stored on your device.
- Your name, email, company, project context, and other information you choose to include in an email or official communication channel.
3. Contact form and direct communications
The Contact page does not submit form data to a Douwyn server. Selecting the email-draft action opens your email application with the entered information.
Data leaves the page only if you choose to send the email. It is then processed by your email provider, Douwyn’s email provider, and Douwyn to respond or discuss work.
4. How data is used
Data is used as necessary to operate and secure the website, answer enquiries, assess a possible engagement, maintain communication records, meet legal obligations, and investigate failures or abuse.
- Personal data is not sold.
- Contact data is not used for behavioural advertising on this website.
- Do not send passwords, API keys, payment-card details, identity documents, or another person’s data by email unless an appropriate channel has been agreed.
5. Retention, providers, and transfers
Technical logs may be retained as needed by hosting, CDN, security, and backup providers. Emails and related records are kept for a period appropriate to the enquiry, contractual relationship, accounting need, or legal obligation.
Some infrastructure providers may process data in other countries. Douwyn selects providers according to operational needs and applies appropriate measures within its control.
6. Security
Douwyn applies technical and organisational measures appropriate to the website’s scale and risk, including HTTPS, restrictive resource policies, access controls, and software updates. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on the applicable law and processing context, you may request information, access, correction, restriction, or deletion; object to certain processing; or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
Send requests to contact@douwyn.com. Douwyn may need to verify identity and may retain data where required by law or legitimate rights.
8. Cookies and local storage
A first-party “preferred-language” cookie is stored for up to one year to remember language. The light or dark theme is stored in localStorage under “douwyn-theme” until browser data is cleared.
At the date of this policy, the website does not install behavioural-advertising tools or cross-site tracking cookies. This statement will be updated if the implementation changes.
9. External links and children
The website may link to GitHub, Telegram, Facebook, or other services. Their policies apply after you leave douwyn.com.
The website is intended for businesses and people able to enter appropriate agreements. It is not designed to collect children’s data. Contact Douwyn if you believe a child has submitted information.
10. Changes and contact
This policy may change when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest review date appears at the top of the page.
